Juxtaposition

My Understanding ----->
Juxtaposition is an act of placing close together or side by side for comparison or contrast.
Juxtaposition ( literary ), synonymous with contrast, 2 objects or text that oppose 1 another.

Here is a picture that show juxtaposition:

The 2 penguins are juxtaposed in the water, capturing one from above and to side and the other from below and underneath giving a 360 degree view, clever?

Random juxtaposition refers to the stimulation of creativity in problem solving, design or other
creative pursuit by confronting 2 unrelated concepts or objects usually the goal or problem to
be solved on the one hand and a randomly selected object or concept on the other.
Similar to an oxymoron.

Convergent and Divergent thinking, Logical Mindmap, Stereoptypes

This week Mr Yap teach about convergent and divergent thinking. What i understand is that convergent thinking is bring all idea together and set up a criteria which does not require creative. Divergent thinking is we can have many possible solution which is creative. While logical mind map is to arrange all the information that i get. Stereotype is held a group of people or someone by some characteristics.

This week our task is to create a creative mind map about myself:

creative mind map of myself

The mind map is about myself. I use tree because tree have many branches. The content is about myself, hobby, place i study and favourite food etc.

Here is a logical mind map that i search from the internet:

Logical mind map can visual out all the idea and make relationship and link between them. A mind map can help us to do work easier and easier to recognize. People always use stereotypes when doing mind map because stereotypes provide a quick identify for a group or a person that easily recognized by audience. So, we does not need to explain much and it make it easy to understand by people.
